Full switch to UDP, new map, and full skill rebalance

The new year has brought forth plenty progress in Counter Defense.  We found ourselves wanting to see Counter Defense in its beauty with 10 active players, and to prepare ourselves we've worked at a few things

Fulling switching the internet protocol to UDP and it worked beautifully in the first play test with 10 full players in our world.

New and improved map once again to stimulate the sense's for the players to be surrounded by a lush and rich environment

Both of us have re-balanced the skills the skills we felt were never picked in our private tests.  Hopefully everybody enjoyed the skills they picked in our 10 player test.  Also, we have been thinking about how to balance bows, swords, maces, and wands.  In the end, it seems like after all our thought, we needed to buff maces even more.

Here is the next screenshot of our world, there wont be any more map improvements after this.  My next task is to implement visual feedback for our skills.

Lots of changes!

There have been a a lot of changes, in no particular order.

  • Changed skills a little bit, added ''Ultimate'' functionality, some spells can now only be selected at level 6
  • Implemented added UDP.
  • Added a new map, the DOTA 2 map because it leaves flexibility for new additions to gameplay.  For whatever we might add in the future.
  • Added over 40 skill icons, and now each skill has its own icon associated with it.
  • Macing was also changed to swing slow, but do more damage.
Here is a link to our list of skills and effects in Counter Defense

With these changes, I leave you a screenshot of the new map
In the top left-hand corner you can see I am using a mace,
with Hex and Sunstrike, with 2 unselected skills
